Club Meeting 3rd April 2017

Josephine rose to the challenge of energising a small group of 6 members on her first time chairing a Chaucer meeting. Pete gave an interactive education session. Bryan revealed his mastery of use of voice in a speech about cats and Peter gave us a thought provoking speech about retiring to Israel. They impressed the audience and evaluators. Julian chaired the topics session and chose the theme of favourites – from holiday destination to colour. There were spirited and humorous responses. Pete evaluated the evening to be a success with quality not quantity.

Come and join us for our next meeting on 8th May after the Easter break. There are still roles to fill on the agenda – let Julian or Adrian know if you are willing to contribute.

Happy Easter to all members and friends of Chaucer Speakers.
